ゲームでボス戦が始まる直前の緊迫した雰囲気をイメージして制作しました。戦いの始まりを知らせるゴングをイメージしたTubular Bellsが楽曲中で13回鳴らされ、これから来たるであろう、ボスとの戦いの厳しさ・絶望的な状況を表現しています。シンセサイザーのホワイトノイズを利用して作成した音は、ボス戦の舞台で吹く風をイメージしていま す。 メイン・テーマを低音域の弦楽器群のユニゾンで登場させ、徐々に高音域の弦楽器へと 移行させています。管楽器群の登場も、低音域の楽器から高音域の楽器へと増やしていくことによって、重々しい雰囲気を継続しつつ広がりが出るようなオーケストレーションを目指しました。
