About using Sound Source on YouTube

You can use this site's sound files on YouTube.

About ContentID registration

The sound sources on this site are open to the general public.
Applying for rights on YouTube to the sound sources,
as well as to the productions that contain the sound sources, is an infringement of the rights of the composer and the user, and must not be done.
If any of the above actions are confirmed, the rights holder or its agent may take action against the composer for copyright infringement, not just on YouTube.

If you receive an allegation of copyright infringement

If a video that uses sound sources from this site receives a copyright infringement complaint on YouTube, the cause may be one of the following
Please check the alerts in the YouTube management screen and check the relevant ones.
1. Violation of the terms of use set by the licensee/composer If the sound source is used in a video that violates the license of this site or violates the terms of use set forth by the composer, a copyright infringement claim may be filed by the rights holder (the composer or this site and its agent "TRACKS Inc.").

We share information about offending users among composers, and encourage them to take appropriate action when they discover that their sound sources are being used inappropriately.
2. If the complainant is "TRACKS Inc. (on behalf of DOVA-SYNDROME)" The copyright management of the sound files on YouTube is outsourced to TRACKS Inc.
* The sound source management company has changed from Crosswarp Inc. to TRACKS Inc. in May 2018.

If you received a complaint about a YouTube video that uses a sound source published on this site by TRACKS Inc., the video may be in violation of the license prohibitions or the composer's terms of use. YouTube accounts that are found to have multiple or flagrant violations will be blacklisted and copyright infringement claims will be filed for all subsequent videos found, regardless of whether or not they are in violation.

According to a report from the management company, there was a change in YouTube's internal system on the same day, and due to a system error, a complaint of copyright infringement was filed against a video that should not have been filed.

However, we have been informed that there is a time lag in the process, and in the unlikely event that the termination is not carried out, we would like to apologize for the inconvenience to users.
In the event that the removal does not take place, we ask that you file a dispute with YouTube against the copyright infringement claim.

The following problems may occur if you use songs for which rights have been claimed by the above organizations in your YouTube videos.
  • No ads in the video.
  • A portion of the advertising revenue from the video will be confiscated.
  • The credits of the song will be displayed in the video description.
However, these problems are caused by the above-mentioned organizations abusing YouTube's current operating rules and systems, and we are currently working with overseas copyright organizations and YouTube through TRACKS, Inc. to resolve the issues.

The above list also includes overseas organizations that sample or modify sound sources available on the Internet without the permission of the rights holders and file for rights on YouTube. These organizations also file copyright infringement claims against unspecified users on YouTube, mainly for the purpose of earning advertising revenue.

In order to respond to the complaint, in both cases of "unauthorized claim of rights" and "application for rights through sampling or modification," the complainant is required to file an objection on YouTube or contact YouTube support. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and ask for your understanding and patience.
