How to Search for Audio Tracks

How to Search for Audio Tracks

We provide several search methods on this site to suit different purposes.

With Advanced Search you can search BGM by combining keywords, tags, composer, playback time, loop support, and other criteria. SE can be searched similarly via Sound Effect Materials Advanced Search.

You can also enter keywords in the search box in the sidebar to find audio tracks that match those keywords. Additionally, you can browse by mood or usage from the Tag List.

Search BGM Used in YouTube Videos

With YouTube Video BGM Search, enter a YouTube video URL to search for up to 20 BGM tracks used in that video that are published on this site. Please note the following:

  • The database is updated about once a month based on YouTube's detection system
  • BGMs not detected by YouTube will not appear in results (detection targets audio used for 30 seconds or more in the video)
  • Recently published videos may not be reflected
  • BGMs used in videos that have been taken down will not appear in results

Free-Form Search (Beta)

With Free-Form Search β you can input a natural-language description of the BGM you’re looking for and search by that image. Because this is a β version, results and availability may change without notice.
