ファンタジーで勇ましい、戦争モノのBGM。ピチカートのリフありきで作り始めたらフレーズネタが噛むは噛むはでいつの間にか構成がオーケストラでやるような大所帯に。その分迫力も出て、なかなか良い具合に仕上がったのではと思っております。ちなみに「overwhelm」は圧倒するとか、制圧するとか、そんな意味。No.125 「ヴァルハラの旅路」なんかと相性が良さ気。あ、もしくは友軍にこの曲、敵軍にNo.092 「侵略の狼煙」なんかでも良いコントラストが出来そう。
